DESCRIPTION

Meet us at the DesignPhiladelphia's official kick-off party for a special preview of the mobile teaching unit and a pop-up version of our exhibition at Cherry Street Pier.  This is the public debut of our battery-powered teaching unit, which has been designed through a series of community focus groups and fabricated by Stephen Horcha, the founder of Haley Tricycles. 
After this event, the cart will be moved to Atelier Gallery for the Opening Reception of Teaching at the End of Times exhibition on October 7th.

There will be a permanent, pop-up exhibition of the Teaching at the End of Times project at Cherry Street Pier from October 1st - November 30th.

Once the exhibit closes on October 29th, the cart will be re-installed at Cherry Street Pier until November 30th. 

The DesignPhiladelphia kick-off party is free to attend after 7PM, anyone can purchase advance tickets for early access at 5:30PM.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Cherry Street Pier is wheelchair accessible.  Accessible bathrooms on location. The location is under cover and inside, but not climate-controlled as the ends of the building are designed to stay open to the waterfront and Columbus Blvd.. Restaurant, cafe, and vending machines on site.
